Elva Mae Owens Godwin, 91, of Hoxie passed away early Saturday morning, Sept. 26, 2009.

She was born Sept. 25, 1918, at Alicia, the daughter of Jack C. and Lola Cooper Arnold.

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis (Larry) Smith; granddaughter, Laura (Ralph) McFann; and twin great-grandsons, Gus and Jake McFann, all of Myrtle, Mo.; and sisters, Jean Jean and Mazie (Wilson) Alls, both of Walnut Ridge.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday in Strangers Home Cemetery.
