Wake services for Mrs. Laura Agnes Cochran of El Reno will be 7 p.m. Monday, August 31 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Phil Donohue will officiate. Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery next to her husband. Services will be under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cochran died Aug. 29, 1992 at Park View Hospital. She was born Oct. 1, 1913 at Gage, Okla. to her parents Laurance Peter and Elsie Jane Morgan Jennings. Mrs. Cochran was a former resident of Woodward and Union City. She moved to El Reno in December 1959. Mrs. Cochran worked as a cook at Sacred Heart Catholic School for many years. She was also a homemaker. Mrs. Cochran was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Agnes Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ross Cochran; and two sisters, Bessie Githens and Martha McAfee.
Survivors include two sons, Alfred L. Cochran and his wife Debra, and David H. Cochran and his wife Linda all of El Reno; a daughter Carholine Elizabeth Maschino and her husband Jerome, of Okarche;a step son Hayward F. Cochran and his wife, Bunny, of Lodi, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Helen Phillips of Marysville, Calif; four sisters, Miss Kate Jennings and Mrs. Otto (Anna) Wiese , all of El Reno and Mrs. Margaret Davis of Sheridan, Wyo.; two brothers, Joe Jennings of Lubbock, Texas and John Francis Jennings of Rogue River, Ore.; eight grandchildren, Tony and Connie Maschino, Tim Maschino, Theresa Machino, Scott Maschino, Debora Maschino, John L. Cochran and Francis Hardy; three great-grandchildren, William Giddings, Christopher Giddings and Timothy Ivy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
