Samuel Jarvis 1st North Carolina regiment.He mar.in SC.Frances Griffin.They lived in SC.and then moved to Effingham,GA.He was killed in 1787 by " Tory Bushwhackers" beaten to death with a lighter knot and left dead on the Ogeechee River.
