Funeral services for Marion "Bud" N. Whitt, 62, of Twisp, Wash., and formerly of Aledo, who died Nov. 29 at his home, were held Dec. 2 at Precht's Methow Valley Chapel, Twisp. Burial was in Beaver Creek Cemetery, Twisp.
Mr. Whitt was born April 4, 1920, in Shale City, a son of Millard and Luna Awbrey Whitt. He attended Mercer County schools.
In 1943 he married Gloria Beachler in Aledo.
He was employed at the Hydraulic Brick Co., Shale City, for 15 years, until moving to Washington where he was employed by Weyerhauser and US Plywood.
He was of Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Steven of Everett, Wash., four daughters, Mrs. Terri Johnson of Auburn, Wash., Mrs. Judy Willoughby of Alderwood Manor, Wash., Mrs. Ruth Champagne and Mrs. Donna Zarrizosa, both of Twisp; 16 grandchildren; and four sisters, Sylvia Street of Oceanside, Calif., Mrs. Gladys Blaser of Rock Island, Mrs. Jean Lindburg of Matherville and Mrs. Wilma Litwiler of Aledo.
