Suggested edit: Mrs. Della A. Eastin died at her home on Tuesday at 8 p.m. She was born at Iuka on April 4, 1878, the daughter of Thomas J. and Nancy E. Farris and was married to James H. Eastin on Mar. 16, 1898. She has been a member of the Methodist church since she was 16 years old.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: Owen F. Eastin of Springfield, Mrs. Cecil M. Smith of Sullivan, Louis E. Eastin of Rock Springs, Wyo., Lee R. Eastin of Mattoon, Charles P. Eastin of Sullivan, Mrs. Bernice A. Alexander of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Bea Shaw of Lincoln, Mrs. Lola Vaughn of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Ruby Watson of Los Angeles, Calif.: one sister, Mrs. Cora Smith of Kincaid and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the McMullin Funeral home on Saturday at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. J.R. Hoy and burial was made in Greenhill cemetery.
