Final rites for Harless Ely, 71, 810 J.Q. Adams St., who died Wednesday, will be Monday at 11 A.M. at Holman-Hankins Chapel, Dr. George Ashwood officiating. Vault entombment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
Born in Oregon City March 27, 1896, Mr. Ely had lived in this community all of his life. He was a retired weaver for Pendleton Woolen Mills and a member of the
First Presbyterian Church.
Besides the widow, Jeannie M., survivors include two children, Gerald L. Ely, Jennings Lodge; and Mrs. Catherine McKern, Oregon City; sisters. Mrs. Frank (Carol) Juhnke, Portland; Mrs. John (Eloise) Lenz, San Francisco; Mrs. Helen MacKenzie, Cupertino, Calif.: and five grandchildren.
