"Died -- Isaac Benson, aged 71 years, died at his home west of Chase Tuesday, February 14, at 3 o'clock p. m. Uncle Isaac was well linked by all who knew him. Me was an active member of the M. E. church at this place. By his death the family have lost a kind and loving husband and father, and the community a good citizen and grand old man. But he has only crossed the river a few days before the vas assembly that are now passing the milestones of life so rapidly. What might to some individuals who are not prepared to die be an unwelcome thought, was to him a grand message, namely: "Tis not all of life to live, nor all of death to die." The funeral services were held yesterday."
