Macomb, IL - Jack Abernathy, 67, of 900 E. Jefferson St. passed away at 4:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at Galesburg Terrace in Galesburg.

He was born July 3, 1942 in Prairie City, the son of Theodore and Ona Miller Abernathy. He married Geneva Ginger Arvin on July 7, 1963 in Bushnell. She survives.

Also surviving are three brothers, Teddy, Wayne and Richard; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bernard, Rex and Lonnie and two sisters, Vivian Cale and Audrey Thompson.

He owned Kittin-Kaboodle in Macomb. He also operated J&G Sales selling at flea markets all over the country.

Graveside services will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. V
