OBITUARY:
THURSDAY, JANUARY 14, 1960
Anchor Stone Foreman, William Parks, Dies
William Oren Parks, an Anchor Stone Co. foreman, died of a heart attack in his sleep today at his home, 4625 E. 14th Pl.

Mr. Parks, 58, had suffered a heart ailment several years but had worked Wednesday at the Anchor asphalt plant on East 46th Street, North. He had lived in Tulsa 36 years and worked for Layman and Sons Contractors before going to work for the Anchor firm 10 years ago. He was a member of Rock Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Pearl Mae; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas H. Clews of 6259 E. Latimer Pl. and Mrs. Jay D. Jennings of 6619 E. King St.; his mother, Mrs. Myra Rasmussen of Laferia, Texas; a sister and three grandchildren. The Moore Funeral Home is in charge.

Per Ira Dean Duncan diary, William passed away as a result of a heart condition while lying on a divan in his front room.
