Sharon Ramsey Strick, age 64 of Jasper, Arkansas died Tuesday morning, August 25, 2009 at her home.

The daughter of Jess and Pauline Ramsey, she was born December 3, 1944 in Harrison, Arkansas.

She graduated from Deer Public Schools and moved to Kansas City, Missouri. There she married Robert Strick on August 3, 1962, and the two of them lived in Kansas City, Fort Knox, Kentucky, and Enterprise, Alabama before retiring to Jasper, Arkansas. From Jasper, they moved to Robert's family farm in Fairview, Missouri. After the death of her husband, Sheri moved back to Jasper where she has lived for the last two years.

Sheri was preceded in death by husband, Robert, father, and sister, Jessalyn Davis.

Survivors are her son, Ben Strick of Fairview, Missouri; grandsons, Dalton and Dustin Strick of Panama City, Florida; mother, Pauline Ramsey of Jasper; sisters, Jan Larson of Jasper, Pat Adams and husband, Bill of Mountain Home, Judy Schenk and husband, David of Jasper, Kathy Lord and husband, Terry of Kansas City, Missouri, Carla Weeks and husband, Ron of North Little Rock, and Lisa Anderson and husband, Carl of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, Don Ramsey and wife, Kay of Walnut and Mike Ramsey and wife, Carol of Keller, Texas; brothers-in-law, Melvin Davis of Russellville, Arkansas, Jack and wife, Bessie of Joplin, Missouri, Mark and wife, Rose of Neosho, Missouri, and Paul and wife, Pearl of Pierce City, Missouri; and sister-in-law, Jean Richardson. She will be greatly missed by all of them as well as several nephews and nieces and many more relatives and friends.

Sheri especially enjoyed getting re-acquainted with her high school friends after moving back to Jasper.

Visitation was Friday, August, 28, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. The memorial service was Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with Father Gregory Hart officiating. Interment followed in Swain Cemetery at Swain, Arkansas. Honorary pallbearers were her many nephews and nieces.
