Born April 24, 1929 in Moab, Utah, a son of Gareld Earl and Neva Wilma Murphy Martin. Married Helen Ida Ludwig on November 26, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Survived by his wife, Helen; children: Polly Russell, Arizona; Jani (Martin) Mercado, West Valley City; Jody John Martin; Ben Andru Martin, both of Kearns, grandchildren: Amber, Desirae and Chance John; father, Earl Martin; brothers, Guy Martin, Richard Martin, Tony Martin, Tim Martin, all of Moab, Utah; Tom Martin, Arizona; Melvin Martin, Oregon; sisters, Jo Platt, Santa Rosa, Calif.; Cora Mae Johnston, Moab, Utah. Preceded in death by daughter, Sheri Lee; mother, Neva Martin; brother, Ben Martin; baby brother, Alvin.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Kearns Utah Stake Center, 4260 West Sams Boulevard (5215 South). Friends may call on Monday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and one hour prior to the services at the Stake Center.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
