He is preceded in death by his wife Emma, she passed away in 1978, and his son Freddie Eugene, who passed away in 1978, his parents, John and Elvira Duree-Adams, and four brothers, Clarence, Harvey, Arthur James, and Ernest Jackson Adams.
He is survivors include, two brothers, Charlie L. and Johnnie Adams, both of Arkansas. One sister, Ruby Jewell Whitney of Arkansas.
Children, Phyllis Ailene, Billy Edward, David Calvin, Holly Lynn, and Sherry Adams, all of Arkansas. many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Interment was at Ballews Chapel Cemetery in Grubbs, Arkansas-Jackson County, Arkansas.
