Sarah E " SALLIE HOARD " was the 2nd wife of J.E. Hoard.. They were married on December 22 , 1888 in St. Clair Co. , AL. She was the daughter of John and Suzanne B. McLaughlin Hayes. She is buried in the same area of cemetery as her Mother , her brother's Isaac and Marion and her sister Rachel "DUCK "Fulmer. There is no death date on her marker , but I have a copy of the Funeral Home Records that show she was born on April 16, 1846 , she died on September 30, 1931 and was buried on October 01, 1931. All other records show her name as being spelled Hoard , rather than the HORD that is on marker. Other have her listed as dying in Fulton Co., Ga. , but My records show was born right here in her home County and State
