Mr. Rotman was born July 7, 1917, northeast of Downs and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a World War II veteran and a farmer-stockman. He was a member of Downs Veterans of Foreign Wars, Dispatch Christian Reformed Church, Good Sams Camping Club and Picnic Ants Camping Group of Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Jean of the home; two daughters, Denise Jackson of Glen Elder and Judy Gracey of Broken Arrow, Neb.; three brothers, Tony of Downs, Albert of Cozad, Neb., and Julian of Coffeyville; a sister, Bessie Wichers of Downs; and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Dispatch Christian Reformed Church, the Rev. Harold deJong officiating. Burial will be in East Dispatch Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Domoney Funeral Home, 817 Morgan Ave., Downs 67437.
