Downs, Kansas ----- Antone Allen "Tony" Rotman 97, died March 1, 2012, at Osborne. He was born July 4, 1914, to John and Dena (Otte) Rotman in Smith County.

Tony married Gladys Deters on June 5, 1940. They had four children, who all survive: Douglas (Nancy) Rotman, of Boise, Idaho, Jan (Rick) Clark, of Powersville, Mo., Jennifer (Manuel) Guzman, of Richardson, Texas, and Dennis (Mary) Rotman, of Downs; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Other survivors are a brother, Albert Rotman, of Cozad, Neb.; a sister Bessie Wichers, of Downs; and seven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, one grandson, two brothers and on sister.

There will be visitation from 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Domoney Funeral Home, Downs. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Dispatch Christian Reformed Church, Downs. A private burial will be before the service in East Dispatch Cemetery.
