After a lingering illness of three years, Louis Wm. Egermann passed into eternal rest at the dawn of day, Sunday, Dec. 24, 1916, at his home, 809 Oakland Ave., Milwaukee, Wis.
Deceased was the oldest son of Joseph and Barbara Egermann, and was born in Naperville, Jan. 5, 1875. His marriage to Ella Jenkinson, of Milwaukee, took place Aug. 3, 1904, in which city he was a resident for the past fourteen years. A little daughter, Marion Carol, now aged 10 years, blessed their home.
On Christmas night the remains were brought here to the home of his mother, at 160 Washington St., and on Wednesday morning at 9:30, the requiem and funeral services were held at SS. Peter & Paul's Catholic Church.
The very large attendance and the numerous floral tokens paid a beautiful tribute to the departed one, also were expressive of the deep sympathy to those mourning his loss, his wife and daughter, his mother, Mrs. Barbara Egermann; brother, John W.; and his sisters, Miss Lena, Mrs. E. M. Dieter, Miss Matie and Mrs. J. Yender, all of our city.
