SCRANTON- Darrell Wayne Burch, 78, Scranton, Kansas, passed away Friday, September 18, 2009, at a Topeka Hospital.
He served in Service Battery, 48th Field Artillery Battalion of the United States Army in Korea.
Darrell retired as a warehouseman for Hearthside Furniture, Topeka, after 38 years of service.
Survivors include his wife Irene Burch, of the home. A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at the Scranton United Methodist Church, Scranton, Kansas.
Burial will be in Burlingame Cemetery, Burlingame, Kansas.
He will lie in state from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, at Carey Funeral Home, Burlingame, where family visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
