Mrs. Bertha Hooper, wife of John Hooper, 2615 Fifth avenue, Altoona, died Sunday at 12:45 p.m. at her home. She was born August 9, 1881 at Newton Hamilton, a daughter of John and Nancy Kaan.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: William and Walter C. of Altoona; Herbert and Jack, at home; Mrs. Anna Reed, Mercer; four brothers, John, Homer and Alfred Kaan, all of Huntingdon, and Walter Kaan of Pittsburgh. Three grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Hooper was a member of the Brethren Church, Twenty-fourth avenue and Ninth street, Altoona.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be made in Grandview cemetery, at Altoona.
