Son of Phillip Ammidowne and Ithamar Warfield. He married Margery Aldrich on March 7, 1732 in Mendon. They had 9 children (all born in Mendon, MA):

-Ebenezer Ammidon (1741-1799)

Ichabod married Hipzibah Mann on 5 Dec 1771 in Mendon.

Ichabod was the second son of his father's second wife. His father was a farmer and carpenter. His younger brother Ephraim, was favored in his father's will (Ichabod was 33 at that time). He shared the remainder of the estate with the other six brothers and sisters. He remained in Mendon most of his life even though his father moved to Oxford when he was 13. Ichabod was a farmer. Town records show he served as Selectman in 1756 and was on the Grand jury in 1758. In the records of the town he is called Lieutenant.
