Funeral services for Estelle Jane Barnett, 79, of Davis were Sept. 15 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Griffin officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barnett was born May 16, 1916, at Foster and died Sept. 13 at her home. Her parents were Ellis and Jennie (Jordan) Hughes. She married Alford Lee Barnett on Dec. 31, 1937, at Pauls Valley. He preceded her in death March 25. She lived most of her life in Davis and was a housewife.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Busby and Virginia Martin, both of Davis; a son, Alford Lee Barnett Jr. of Davis; two sisters, Mary Ellen Yarbrough and Othalee Schott, both of Pixley, Calif., 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ben Randall, Dave Gallaway, Edd McNeil, Miles Judkins, Mark Oakley and Jimmy Salter. Honorary pallbearers were Junior Thomas, Dr. David Eggenberg and men of the First United Methodist Church.
