Susannah was the daughter of Joseph & Mary Anne Hoss Bowman. On 26 May 1825, she married James Crouch. They were the parents of 11 children-Alfred Miller, Mary, Edwin, Henry Hoss, Sarah ELizabeth, Selina, John Lafayette, Larkin, Louisa, Joseph, and James Miller.
