Mrs. Zilla Estella Shaver, 73, died at the Corry Hospital at 9 am yesterday. For the past 2 years she had made her home in Centreville, where she was born on Feb. 26, 1877.
In March, 1894, she was married to Robert Shave, who died 2 years ago. For many years, Mr. & Mrs. Shave lived west of Riceville.
The deceased leaves a son, Lester, of Arkon, OH. Another son, Murel, died in 1825 and daughter Mrs. Mildred Himebaugh, died in 1932. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Newton and Hick Winton, and a sister, Mrs. Merton Southall, all of Centreville, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Torrey funeral home in Spartansburg at any time and attend funeral services there on Tuesday at 2. pm. Interment will be in Riceville cemetery. Rev. William M. Luttrell of the Hydetown-Centerville Methodist Church will Officiate.
