Roxie Lavor Scutt, 78, died May 11, 2004 at her daughter's (Debrah) home in Snowflake.

She has lived in Snowflake for the past 13 years, was a retired steno typist, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (First Ward) and was well known within the circle of her church. She was married twice and retired at the age of 65. She moved to Snowflake from California to take care of her mother in her last days. She had watched Snowflake grow from dirt roads to blacktop.

She is survived by her sons Cliff Thomas of Las Vegas, Nevada and Errol Thomas of Phelan, California; daughters, Lavora Coleman of Phoenix and Deborah Loghry of Snowflake; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Randall and her parents Henry and Clara Nikolaus.

Services were held Saturday, May 15 at the LDS Main Street Chapel in Snowflake, with burial in the Snowflake Cemetery.
