Funeral services for Mrs. Susan McCarty, 66, prominent Lawrence County woman, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, near Wren, with the Rev. Rich officiating. Mrs. McCarty died Wednesday night at her home in Moulton after a long illness. The funeral procession will leave Moulton for Pleasant Grove at 9:30 a.m. Brown of Decatur will direct interment.
Mrs. McCarty is survived by her husband, John McCarty; three daughters, Mrs. W.H. Jackson, Decatur; Mrs. L.A. McKelvey, of Texas; Mrs. L.R. Drain, of Moulton; three sons, W.D., W.R., and J.L. McCarty.
