Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Eckhardt, 94, formerly of Reynolds and Taylor Ridge, who died Monday at the Good Samaritan home, Davenport, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Buffalo Prairie Township. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Larson Funeral Home, Milan, Illinois was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
The former Margaret E. Attig was born July 23, 1883 in Marston, IL, the daughter of Nicholas and Margaret Leonhart Attig. She also had lived in Aledo and Muscatine.
She was married to Alvin Eckhardt in 1902 in Marston.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Walter L. Hanssen, Davenport, and Mrs. Clarence Sharrett, Los Angeles; two sons, Paul, Kewanee and Elmer, Princeton; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Emmet Titterington, Taylor Ridge, and a brother, George Attig, Aledo. She was preceded in death by two children, six sisters and a brother.
