Campobello - Aug. 4 - Augustus Brannon, who has been ill for some time, died at his home here Saturday morning. He was buried in the Methodist Cemetery, the Rev. Mr. Orr, pastor of the Baptist Church, preached the funeral sermon.
Confederate States of America Veteran. Served with Company C Holcombe Legion.
My mother was Merle Dean Ledford, her mother was Willie Thelma Brannon Ledford, her daddy was Millidge Benton Brannon, his father’s name was Augustus Brannon!
I have a daughter and a granddaughter-6 generations!
My daughter is Tammy Dean Owens Horton Goodlett
My granddaughter is Austin Brooke Horton Durbin.
