Brianna was born at Loudoun Memorial Hospital on Cornwall Street in Leesburg, VA on July 23, 1986. She was always a very determined little girl and that trait stayed with her until the day her cancer took her from our midst. Brianna had the most beautiful thick, curly dark brown hair that she was determined was meant to be straight. Her eyes were gorgeous with thick wonderful eyelashes that even in her last days were not influenced by the chemotherapy. As beautiful as she was on the outside, she was twice as beautiful on the inside. She was caring, kind, and loving of her family and friends.

Brianna always loved animals from the start. Her first pet was Richard, a stuffed bull, who was her companion until the day she died. She loved horses and took riding lessons with her cousins. She rode in horse shows and went to horse camp. Her dog Moonpie was a beloved pet for many years until she had to move to a place that did not allow dogs, so Moonpie came to live at the farm in Leesburg. Whenever Brianna came to visit, Moonpie stayed right by her side. Hampsters, fish, ferrets, and numerous cats were among her pets that had a special place in her heart.

Brianna was studying to be a medical assistant through an online university program. She wanted a career in the medical field and this was how she was getting a start. She completed her course work while she was working full time for Atlantic Coast Cotton, a job she enjoyed, mostly because of the wonderful friends she had there. The first two semesters Brianna made the Dean's list. Brianna became a mother on April 9, 2008, giving birth to Noah Angelo. She knew she had cancer and put off having the surgery to remove the tumor for several months until she could safely deliver Noah. The surgery was to have cured her, but it recurred several months later. Brianna was a devoted mother and loved her son and gave all she had for him.
