Josephus Jones Eiland, 68, retired carpenter and lifelong resident of Pasco County, died here yesterday after a brief illness. Prior to moving to Dade City, he had resided in San Antonio. He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. A. J. Burnside of Dade City; Mrs. Mary Demerritt of Tarpon Springs; Mrs. Alice Crum and Neala Mae Crum of rural Brooksville, and Mrs. Alma Schatz of Thomasville, Georgia; and three brothers: L. D. Eiland of Hampton, J. F. Eiland of DeLand, and Lee Eiland of Homosassa, Florida.
