Mr. Raymond Griebenow sang three solos "Higher Ground", "One Sweetly' Solemn Thought," and "Rock of Ages"; he was accompanied by Mrs. Franklin Partlow.

Charles William Juenke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Juenke, was born on December 26, 1864 at Strodthagen, Germany, and died at 6:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18th, 1938 at the Charles Miller hospital, St. Paul, Minn., at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 22 days.

Several weeks ago he found it necessary to submit to a major operation which proved successful, and from which he rallied and was able to return home, but after a few days other complications set in and he had to be taken back to receive further medical assistance, and everything possible was done to prolong his life, but to no avail.

When nearly three years of age, his parents recieved their passport on October 18th, 1867, and came to this country and settled first in Illinois, and later in Minnesota.

On January 12th, 1893 he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Manke with whom he lived happily for nearly 46 years. Their first home was in Vermillion township, and in 1903 they moved to Castle Rock township, and in 1922 to Farmington.

When about 38 years of age he experienced a genuine conversion, joined the church of his choice and for several years served as Sunday school superintendent, class leader and assistant.

He leaves to mourn his departure; his faithful companion, one son Richard of Castle Rock township; two daughters, Henrietta (Mrs. Milton Hoffman), Farmington; Hazel (Mrs. Earl Luedke) of Empire township; one brother, Christ, of Cass Lake, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and many friends.

Those who attended the funeral from a distance were: Christ Juenke of Cass Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. A. Juenke, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Reinen, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Buller of Hendricks, Minn.; Mr. & Mrs. Walter Juenke and Arnold, Wm. Juenke and Mrs. Walter Stapf of Crystal, No. Dak.; Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
