Obit was located in "Dakota County Tribune" May 18, 1928 on page #6, and reads as follows:
"Henry Frederick Juenke was born July 3, 1850, at Stadthagen, Hanover, Germany, and died May 1, 1928 at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 28 days.

At the age of seventeen, in the year of 1867, he and his parents came to America, landing at Castle Garden, New York. The following year they came to Farmington and ten years later, in January, 1878, he filed on his homestead in Lincoln county, Hendricks, Minn.

On March 14, 1882, he was united in marriage to Susanna Kraushaar. To this union ten children were born, nine of whom are left with the sorrowing wife to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father. They are Charles, Alma, Elmer and Clarence, of Hendricks, Minn., Mrs. Walter Stapf and William and Walter Juenke of Crystal, N.D., Mrs. Benjamin Shaub of Mound City, S.D., and George Juenke of Orange, Calif. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles and Chris Juenke and one sister, Mrs. Carrie sickert of Glendale, Calif., besides nine grandchildren.

One son, Bernard, preceded his father in death, passing away at Camp Hancock, Georgia, on October 6, 1918, while in the service of his country at the age of twenty-eight years.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 6, 1928 from the Lutheran Free church. Rev. H.A. Zieske of Worthington Minn., a former pastor of the deceased, preached the sermon, assisted by Rev. E.L. Erickson, pastor of the local Free church. Music was furnished by the ladies' chorus of the New Grove parish, the men's chorus of the Free church, and a solo was sung by George Smith. Numerous beautiful floral offerings were placed on the bier by the many sorrowing relatives and friends of the departed who filled an important place in the life of the community which he helped to a great extent to build up and make flourishing.

The previous summer Mr. and Mrs. Juenke ovserved the Golden Jubilee of their filing on the homestead which has remained their home since. The death of Mr. Juenke marks the passing of another pioneer who saw and experienced all the hardships common to life here in those early days. He was a leader in the community and exerted much influence for the good of those about him. In his youth he joined the Evangelical church and remained faithful to its teachings to the end.

Interment was made in the Hendricks cemetery. The pallbearers were Milton Hoffman, John Gackstetter, William Schmidt, Henry Buller, John Kurth and Andrew Stegner.

Relatives present at the services from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Juenke of Farmington, Minn., Christ Juenke of Cass Lake, Minn., Ernest Kraushaar of St. Paul, Mrs. William Juenke of Farmington, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hoffman, Mr. and Mrs. Fren Juenke, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Luedke, Mr. and Mrs. John Schuler and daughter, Martha, Mr. and Mrs. Harris Ehlers, all of Farmington, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. August Eikmeier and son, Earl of Pipestone, Minn.

All the children from a distance were present at the last rites, namely, George Juenke of Orange, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Juenke, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stapf and William Juenke of Crystal, N.D., and Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Schaub of Mound City, S. Dak.
