Mrs. Mattie L. Bailey, 90, homemaker and resident of Coila, died of cancer, Tuesday, March 3, 1992 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She was the widow of the late Sidney Bailey.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at Lee Funeral Home with Jerry Greenlee officiating. Burial was in the Coila Cemetery.
Servings as pallbearers were John Rowe, Joseph Rowe, Stevie Brown, Gary Azbell, Terry Don Rowe, Sr., and Jarrod Rowe.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Evelyn P. Rowe and Mrs. Janie Rowe, both of Coila, Mrs. Ruby Azbell of Winona; one son, Raymond Bailey of Holly Springs; one brother, Hays Lott of Tupelo; 13 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
