Farmerville—Mrs. Fannye V. Platt Reed, 69, died Thursday September 25, 1986 at Union General Hospital in Farmerville after a long illness.
Service will be at 2 p.m. today at Farrar Funeral Home chapel in Farmerville with Brother Paul Edwards officiating.
Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Oakland.
Mrs. Reed was a resident of Union Parish for two years and was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include five brothers, Fred Platt of Vicksburg, MS, Dwight Platt of Marion, William Platt of El Dorado, AR, Cleat Platt of Swartz and Ernest Blackwell of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Everlene Blackwell Smith of El Dorado, Ark
and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward Ernest Platt and Sarah Velma Edwards Platt, Her husbands Odis Murray and Herbert A. Reed, five brothers and one sister.
