HENDERSONVILLE - Lee F. McCrary, 70, of Hendersonville, died Friday, July 28, 2000, at Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
A native of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Noah and Bellva McCrary. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working in his garden and working on lawn mowers. He retired from Olin in 1991. McCrary was preceded in death by two brothers, Weston McCrary and Preston McCrary and four sisters, Maxine Roach, Ann Lee Thompson, Geneva Penland and Leatine Hyatt.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mary Hyer McCrary one son and his wife, Dean and Debbie McCrary of Hendersonville one daughter and her husband, Shirley and Jackie Murray of Hendersonville four grandchildren, Jamie McCrary and his wife, Donna, Nathan McCrary and his wife, Donna, Cain Murray and his fiance, Holly Henderson, and Bianca Murray and her fiance, Patrick Briggs, all of Hendersonville and one sister, Carrie Clark of Hendersonville.
Services will be held Tuesday at Shepherds Church Street Chapel. The Revs. Jack Plemmons and Con Hyer will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Dale Cemetery.
