Anna Margaret Alexander, age 88, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009. She was born June 16, 1921 in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Henry Albert and Nora Ellen Spradlin. Anna was the last of nine children, of four sisters and five brothers.


Funeral services were held Saturday, September 12, 2009 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronald Sartin officiating. Burial followed in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
