Stephen Brent "Steve" Alexander, age 55, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2002, at his home.

He was born July 5, 1948, the son of the late Howard Alexander and Anna Margaret Spradlin Alexander of Jamestown, Tennessee.

On September 10, 1977, he married Betty Jo Wooldridge Alexander, who survives.

He is also survived by one son, Baron Dale Alexander of Cave City; two stepchildren, Tonya Michelle McClellan of Monticello, Kentucky and Terry Wayne Harper of Danville, Kentucky; two brothers, Sonny Alexander of Rome, Georgia and Baron Kay "Butch" Alexander of Jamestown, Tennessee; one sister, Linda Phillips of Bedford, Indiana; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Monticello Church of Christ. He was retired from Belden Wire and Cable and was a member of Monticello Lodge #431 F&AM.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronald Sartin officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Stephen Brent "Steve" Alexander, 55, was born July 5, 1948, the son of the late Howard Alexander and Anna Margaret Spradlin Alexander of Jamestown, Tennessee, and departed this life on Saturday morning, December 21, 2002, at his home in the Bell Subdivision.

On September 10, 1977, he united in marriage with Betty Jo Wooldridge Alexander, who survives.

Also surviving is his son, Baron Dale Alexander of Cave City; two stepchildren, Tonya Michelle McClellan of Monticello and Terry Wayne Harper of Danville; two brothers, Sonny Alexander of Rome, Georgia and Baron Kay "Butch" Alexander of Jamestown, Tennessee; one sister, Linda Phillips of Bedford, Indiana; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Monticello Church of Christ.

He was retired from Beldon Wire and Cable, a member of Monticello Lodge No. 431 F&AM, and an avid outdoorsman, loving fishing and hunting and just spending time in God's creation.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, in the funeral home chapel with Bro.Ronald Sartin officiating.

Burial will be in the Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, December 23, and after 8 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, at the funeral home.

Monticello Masonic Lodge No. 431 will conduct Masonic Services Monday, December 23, at 7 p.m.
