Mrs. Alvin Stantz
Mrs. Amanda Stantz, wife of Alvin Stantz, southeast of Montpelier, died at Wauseon hospital Saturday morning, after a long illness. Mrs. Stantz, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Zuber, near Edgerton, was 60 years old June 3, and was the mothers of 11 children.
Funeral services were conducted at the Mt. Olive U. B. church, Monday in charge of Rev. Owen of Pioneer. Burial at West Buffalo cemetary.
The deceased is survived by the husband, daughters, Mrs. Mervin Blythe of Defiance, Mrs. Ambrose Ellis of Napoleon, Mrs. Stephen Traxler of Kunkle, Mrs. Arthur Brown, Mrs. Ralph Stahler, Mrs. Everett Waldron and Mrs. Ora Koch, sons Olin, Alva, Melvin and Neri Stantz, all of this county. Many grandchildren and sisers Mrs. Abbie Smith of Toledo, Mrs. Geroge Burkhart of Bryan and brothers, Rev. Frank Zuber, Amos Zuber, near Melbern and Charles Zuber of Bryan.
