Services for Merlin Joseph Coco will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mansura on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 10 a.m. with Father Russell Lemoine officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Mansura under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Mansura.
Mr. Coco, age 94, of Mansura, died Saturday, November 4, 2006 in his residence.
He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp, retired from Druco Lumber Company and a 4th degree Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Parrish Coco of Mansura; daughter, Linda Coco Stowe and husband Jessie Lofton of Mansura; son, Greg Coco and wife Cindy Small of Gaithersburg, Pennsylvania; sister, Bernadine C. Laborde of Rexmer; grandsons, Christian and wife Hailey Stowe and John A. Stowe; granddaughters, Melissa Thomas and husband Brian, Kathleen Stowe and Keri Coco and husband Cail McLaine; and great-grandson, Kevin Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward A. Coco and mother, Emma Bordelon Coco.
