Clyde Burnside was the son of Thomas J. and Mary Jane Spens Burnside. He married Prele Ludean Blackham on December 16, 1931 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Survived by one son, one daughter and spouses, C. Monte and Connie Burnside, Kaysville; Sherril and Clifford Marchello, Spring Glen; also by eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren,
