"William Lyman Biddle died Sunday in his summer home at Penllyn. He was 66 years old. Mr. Biddle was a member of the firm Thomas A. Biddle & Co., brokers, 424 Chestnut street. His father, the late Thomas Alexander Biddle, established the business. William Lyman Biddle was prominent as a clubman in his city, having been a member of the Philadelphia Racquet, Rabbit, Rittenhouse and several other clubs. He was an alumnus of Princeton, from which he was graduated in 1874. He is survived by a brother, a sister and sister-in-law."
