Mr. Clark Dies At 74

Mosie Madison Clark, retired Carroll County farmer, died yesterday at Greenwood Leflore Hospital following & long illness.

He was 74.

Mr. Clark was born in Carroll County and lived most of his life there. He had also lived in Sidon. He was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at p. m. tomorrow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with the Rev. J. C. Sansing officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The body will be at the home until time of services.

Mr. Clark leaves his wife, Mrs. Frances Spell Clark four sons, William F. Clark of Falls Church, Va., Charles Wyatt Clark of Jackson, Fred. R. Clark of West Helena, Ark., and Mosie Melton Clark of Greenwood; seven daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Brock of Kosciusko, Mrs. Mary Reese Gamble of Hartsell, Al., Mrs. Gladys Puckett of West Helena, Miss Grace Clark of Dallas, Mrs. Ada Duke of Clarksdale, Mrs. Sally Ruth Catledge of Biloxi and Mrs. Peggy Brock of Eupora: two step-sons, Thad Spell and Hardy Spell, both of Carrollton; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Alice Ganboro of Brooklyn, and Miss Sylvia Jean Spell of Carrollton; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Beck, Clarksdale, Mrs. Jessie Frazier of Memphis, and Mrs. Winnie Moreland of Chicago; 2 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
