Mrs. Clark, 94, died of heart failure Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford.
Mrs. Clark was born March 11, 1914, in Inverness to the late Charlie and Lizzie Bankston Caldwell and resided in the Greenwood area most of her life. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Melvin Spell and Bardy Spell; two husbands, Billy Bardy Spell and M.M. Clark; and two grandsons.
She is survived by a son, Thad Spell of Greenwood; two daughters, Alice Mae Spell of Biloxi and Sylvia Jean Ferguson of Grenada; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Preston Kelly will officiate at the services.
Williams and Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
