Death of Mr. George W. Langley
Mr. George W. Langley, aged 83 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. O. Ison, Trammell's Cross Roads, last Thursday. Burial took place at County Line on Friday, after funeral service conducted by Rev. A. C. Yeargan. The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. W. Callahan, LaFayette; Mrs. J. O. Ison, Trammell's Cross Roads, and one son, Mr. J. H. Langley, Chambers County; three brothers, William and Jackson Langley, Camp Hill, and Thomas Langley, Dudleyville. Mr. Langley had spent the greater part of his life in this section of Alabama and was universally respected. He was a member of the County Line Baptist Church and a Confederate veteran.
