SUMMERFIELD — Helen A. Averill, 96, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009.
Ms. Averill was born in Rockford, IN, and moved to Summerfield from Palm Beach Gardens in 2006. She was a member of Tropical Sands Christian Church in Palm Beach Gardens; and member of Las Amigas Ladies Bridge Group, West Palm Beach. Survivors include her daughter, Carol E. Dodd, The Villages; stepdaughter, Carolyn Hartwigsen, Minneapolis, MN; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at the Church of Christ in Kemp, Ill. Interment will be at Arcola Memorial Cemetery in Arcola, IL.
