A.J. "Jim" Streeter, 83, died Saturday, September 25, 1999.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in W.S. & E.C. Jones Community Pavilion with Donald Hill officiating. Local arrangements are by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors and Colorado arrangements are by Dykes Mortuary of Walsh.

Mr. Streeter was born on the Streeter Ranch in Baca County and attended schools in Valley View, Colorado, and Walsh. He moved to Roberts County in 1953, to Canadian, Texas in 1996, and worked on ranches in Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas. For 40 years. he was a deputy in Roberts County and was a member of the Sheriff's Association of Texas.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, a sister, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
