Rosalie Elaine Danielson, 96, of Silvis, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 5:00 a.m. after an extended illness at Aspen Rehab and Health Center. Graveside services were at Rock Island National Cemetery.
Rosalie was born April 27, 1913 at home in Coal Valley, IL, the daughter of Harold and Alta Poston. She married Harley Maynard Danielson on November 19, 1949. He preceded her in death December 6, 2000.
Rosalie was a homemaker and was dedicated to taking care of her family. She had a kind heart and cared about others less fortunate. Every year she would adopt a family at Christmas and made sure that they had wonderful holiday. Rosalie also loved animals and volunteered her time at Animal Aid until her health no longer allowed.
