Capt. David Leonard Willis, Jr.- 73 of Pascagoula, MS went to be with our Lord and Savior December 16, 2008 after a lengthy illness. He was born June 27, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant, NC. He was a member of New Horizion Ministries in Escatawpa. Capt. Willis retired from Manhaden Fishers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul L. Willis and Jewel Phillips Willis. Survivors include his beloved wife, R. Jean Willis of Pascagoula; son, David L. Willis, Jr. of Lucedale; daughters, Wanda L. Willis, Judy A. Miller and C. Britton Willis, all of cagoula; brothers, Borden P. Willis of Moss Point, Joseph F. (Ann) Willis of Crystal Beach, TX; sister, Sara N. Walters of Nederland, TX; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, December 19th from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at New Horizions Ministries in Escatawpa. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. from the church sanctuary with Rev. Don Edeker officiating. Interment will be at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula. Services provided by Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS.
