Services Set For Logan

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Seydler Funetal Home for David Crockett Logan, who died at the family residence in Cost at 10:55 p.m. Monday.
The Rev. Leslie C. Welch, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct tje services with burial to take place in tje Masonic cemetery.
Mr. Logan was born in the Denton Creek community on February 25, 1897, the son of Thomas Jefferson and Arizona Elizabeth Christian Logan, natives of Texas and Mississippi respectively.
A poultry farmer in the Cost community, he was married on July 10, 1918, to Miss Jodie Turner of Wrightsboro.
He was a member of the Old Cost Baptist church, Shuler Lodge No. 317, A.F. and A.M. at Wrightsboro, and the Order of the Eastern Star at Wrightsboro.
The Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside services and his bother Masons will act as pallbearers.
Survivors include his wife; one son, J. C. )(Jiggs) Logan of Gonzales; two grandchildren; one brother, Travis Logan of Gonzales; one sister Miss Jennie Logan of Cost; and one half brother, Will Logan of Cost.
