WOODSTOCK - Floyd E. Feezel, 76, of Woodstock, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois Inpatient Unit in Woodstock. He was born June 21, 1933, in Genoa City, Wis., to Floyd M. and Alice F. (Bogard) Feezel. He married Alexa Wirth on July 2, 1955, in Greenwood. He served in the U.S. Army. He was owner and operator of Floyd's Cleaning Service. He was a member of the Woodstock American Legion and the Woodstock Moose Lodge. He loved to play poker and to fish. He especially loved joking and conversing with his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Alexa of Woodstock; a son, Blaine (Brenda) Feezel; three daughters, Debra J. Feezel, Dawn M. (Adelfo) Gonzalez and Ronda L. Parsons; a brother, Larry Feezel; two sisters, Loretta Vela and Judy (Donald) Hansen; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and five sisters. The visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, until the funeral at 11 a.m. at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. Burial will be at McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock.
