Mrs Johnson died January 14 at her home.
A native of Whittier, she lived the past 26 years in El Dorado county. She was a secretary for the US Forest Service for seven years. She was a member of Sacramento Bible Students. According to family members, Mrs Johnson enjoyed six years of exploring the backroads of the West Coast, following her husband's retirement from the California Highway Patrol in 1984.
Mrs Johnson is survived by her husband Elfield "Al" Johnson of Placerville. They were married in 1951.
