He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Phyllis Voorhees and Beverly Armstrong, and one infant brother.
Kaywin owned and operated Henry Dick, Inc. in Eureka before his retirement in 2002.
An Army veteran, he served in the Korean Conflict with a rank of Sgt. in the 32nd Infantry Regiment Signal Corp.
Kaywin was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Eureka for 70 years. He also had memberships with the Blue Lodge #98 in Washington, the consistory in Peoria, and the Shriner's in Springfield.
